Jason Cameron Promoted to DGC Business Agent
The DGC BC Executive Board is pleased to announce that Jason Cameron will assume the post of DGC BC Business Agent effective May 1, 2012.“I am pleased that Jason will be leading the DGC BC Labour Department” stated Nicholas Kendall, DGC BC Chairman. “He has served the DGC BC in various roles over the past 10 years, and his leadership in the last round of collective bargaining showcased his abilities. He is a valued asset to our Membership”.Current Business Agent Paul Altilia is transitioning into a new role with the DGC BC, that of Member Relations Director. Paul will be interacting with Members via sets visits, working with the Caucus Advisory Committees, and organizing professional development opportunities.“Paul brought vast labour relations experience to the BC District Council and has served the membership as their Business Agent with distinction for 10 years” said Crawford Hawkins, DGC BC Executive Director. “His demonstrated interpersonal skills make him uniquely qualified to assist the members in developing the skills needed to grow in this ever-changing industry.
