MPPIA Rolls out the Green Carpet at the Stephen J. Cannell Classic for Charity

The BC motion picture production community gathers on the a ‘green carpet’ at Point Grey Golf & Country Club this Monday June 19 for the 2017 edition of the Stephen J. Cannell Classic Golf Tournament.

This year’s proceeds will benefit Templeton High School’s Dream Big Productions and the MPPIA Short Film Award.

Formerly known as the MPPIA All Star Golf Tournament, the event was renamed in 2011 to pay tribute to the original tournament’s founder, BC motion picture industry builder Stephen J. Cannell. Mr. Cannell passed away in September 2010.
